Why does some medication have this type of side effect? There are several reasons for it actually.       Because medications are needed to treat these illnesses, conditions and diseases you need to monitor the affect it has on your hair loss when you start taking them. If you notice a little hair loss that eventually stops then your medication side effect is normal. If you notice a considerable amount of hair loss that only becomes worse every day you need to call your doctor to talk to them about alternative medications. Once you solve the problem of what is causing your hair loss and the hair loss stops you will be able to notice new hair growth coming in within two to three months.
